Ups and downs this week for the Archers but finished the week with a BANG!

This week was full of excitement and exciting games even though Archers nation fell short a few times this week. We started off the week with softball battling and falling short to Parkway with a score of 2-6 which made them 1-1 on the year at that point of the week. Then baseball came into the game vs Wayne Trace to make a point to move to 2-0 with winning by a score of 4-1, Ethan Lichty was a monster on the mound allowing 1H, 1k, 0BB and 0 runs. Next up we had JV Softball as they came out swinging and putting up a crazy amount of points and taking the win over Parkway with a score of 19-18. Softball looked to bounce back as they torched Delphos Jefferson with a score of 18-1 to improve to 2-1. We moved off the mound for a little to head to the track Tri-meet were Antwerp girls track finished in first and Antwerp boys track finished third. As we moved farther into the week Archers Nation baseball turned it up to another level as they shutout Fairview with a score of 5-0! Next day Archers Nation took a hard L vs Ottoville as it went into extra innings where Ottoville had the hot hand and finished with a final of 3-8. Archers Nation the boys wouldn't allow themselves to end a week with an L as they whooped Liberty Center with a score of 8-2! Antwerp Baseball is currently 4-1 and Softball is 2-1 on the season!
