I first would like to thank Mr. Hale for taking the time out of his day to answer these questions. Coach Hale also has the privilege to not just coach two great Archers Nation sports with track and football but he also is a MS/HS Intervention Teacher. Lets go Archers Nation!
Q: What made you want to become a coach?
A: The impact that my coaches had on me when I was in high school was tremendous. They molded me into part of what I am today. They taught me about life, the game, and being a man. That ultimately drove me to want to become a coach. I want to help kids who need help and make a positive impact on their life. I wanted to coach so I can show my passion for this game and show people how great of a game it is that teaches you about life.
Q: What are some things you take from this unprecedented year in sports?
A: That every rep, every practice, every minute counts. You never know when you may lose the chance to do something you love to do, so you have to take advantage of every chance you get to get better
Q: What are the goals for the fall 2021 football season?
A: Our goals for this football season are to get better each week. We are a very young team still and the goal is to develop all the players week in and week out so that we improve each week. To compete and show up each week and give our best effort is a goal we have for this year.
Q: Who are the Players to watch out for this season?
A: Senior class: our entire senior class will be a big part of what we do in leading this team. Each one will have an important role in making us a complete team. We will need all 35+ guys to make this a successful year and I cannot wait to be with this great group each day and get better
Q: How is the Track season going?
A: Track is flying buy this year. We have so far competed very well each meet. Our boys team we score in the events we are in with the guys we have. They work hard each week to get better. Our girls team has done very well winning 3 meets and runner up at an invite. We are able to fill events and the girls keep showing up and placing and getting better. Our ultimate goal is to be in prime form come conference time and we have two weeks to get that done.
Q: Who has been the Track Standouts?
A: Everyone has contributed a ton to this season so far: These athletes are placing consistently in the top 1-4 each meet:
