Q&A with Varsity Baseball Player Luke Krouse!

aboles001

We had the pleasure of speaking with Junior Luke Krouse who has been tearing it up this season. Luke is an exciting player to watch and has already committed to Bowling Green to continue his athletic and academic career.

Q: What is the team's biggest goal this year?

A: “The team's biggest goal is a conference championship and winning state for Division 4.”

Q: What is your biggest goal for this season?

A: “My goal is to hit 90 mph this spring or summer season.”

Q: Who is a player that you model your game around? Why?

A: “I try to model my game around multiple guys. I really love watching Trevor Bauer pitch and the way he goes about his business. I really try to pitch with that business mentality like he has. Overall, I just try to be myself on the mound and do what I can to help the team win.”

Q: What has been one of your favorite memories made in high school baseball?

A: “Winning the regional title my Freshman year and having the opportunity to play at state has been my most memorable experience.”

Q: With heading into your senior season next year, what is one piece of advice you would give to the underclassmen?

A: “My advice to underclassman is to do what others won’t. Whether it’s getting foul balls, or being a leader. I would also say to be selfish too, take ownership of your role and don’t let others decide the outcome. Most importantly, be a good teammate and do whatever it takes to win.”

Thank you Luke for answering some questions with us and good luck with the rest of the season! #LetsGoArchers
